Arts today

Today was a very nice day as I attended a course for visual communication and got to walk around Arabia Helsinki with Diana. This piece of art, Sirocco, was our favourite spot today. It's named after a desert wind and it's made by Finnish artist siblings, Kivi and Tuuli Sotamaa.

D will share some more pics later on from today. Now we're about to watch "Coco avant Chanel". Yey!

Fur and felt

Diana was visiting me tonight and I was eager to show her my new trousers from Zara. The fur vest I hunted down from Vila a year ago and now it has these soft pants to hang around with. Yey :)

The perfect cape






Sunday morning. Breathtaking view, right?



So many years I looked for the perfect cape and suddenly I found it from Zara, yeiii ! This one is really warm and classy, and also looks really cool with the denim shirt. So got my cape on and headed to Turku for the weekend. Met a lot of my good friends, ate sushi, went to the gym and found a lot of mushrooms from the forest ! haha.

Still in Lapland and it`s already getting too cold for me.  Good thing I bought that green parka, it`s so comfy and I can wear many wool and silk shirts under it to keep me warm. Next week I`m heading back to Helsinki and my mission is to pump some iron at the gym and to find a winter wedges and a cape!

Not all is lost

Still some hope for getting to see pieces of Alexander McQueen's art! The spring collection 2011 has been designed by his co-worker for 15 years, Sarah Burton, and has many familiar elements from Alexander's collections, developed further with a feminine touch.

In my opinion the collection wasn't coherent enough to match up with the artist's original work, but I'm positive Burton's gonna do a great work once she'll find a way to combine McQueen's style with her own.

Thumbs up for Sarah Burton and the legacy of Alexander "Lee" McQueen, the most inspiring designer ever lived!

Sushisushisushi !

I always thaught that sushi were overrated and after my first try, I didn`t actually love them. But since people were talking so much about how delicious sushi is, I thought ok, maybe I just didn`t taste them well enough or maybe I forgot that they actually were good.... Ok, now if you ask me, I say sushi, especially maki rolls, are propably the best dish on the planet! I`m constantly dreamin` about those perfect rolls that I had from the Whole Foods market in New York. I mean, there were japanese chefs making fresh sushi everyday!

So filled up my babies with carrot, cucumber, avocado, salmon, prawn and coriander. The usual.

The weekend

Sooooo the weekend was fun, mellow and...relaxing :) ate some new and exciting stuff in reasturant, like beatroot icecream and reindeer moss, watched movies, baked cinnamon and curd buns, went to a gym and take few nice pics of the sunrise.

Now I`m to the post office, I think Asos has sent me a package... !!
